GRE Study tools that should be revised
Posted by Holder of the Secrets on January 27, 2010 at 12:47 AM |
Why can't a study tool for the GRE's be fun and provide the deeper processing needed to suceed? Why not create a program that pumps out GRE definitions and words in crossword format, so the learning process is fun???
Is it because we are considered to be too old by this time (according to Western society) and therefore in no need of games that enhance learning?
Is there an agreed upon age that no longer requires fun?
On the contrary, it has been shown that we can replenish or grow new cells or neurons in the brain, especially if you do crossword puzzels etc.
What about a program that randomly matches GRE words with their corresponding meanings out in Crossword format!!!??? Or perhaps Sudoku for the quantitative section.?
Would this be controversial because the GRE process is supposed to weed out those that follow everyday activities such as watching TV, reading the newspaper???
