 I  believe U ought to enable member moderated privacy on member created topics, there are many things to share ...  a selective audience counts.  A  broad audience can be deleterious. Or  worse.

With the quote "Let their be light"  -  lets not presuppose thats what was said.  You weren't there, nor can a historical - whats more, political book claim that right.

Light  is a hgher form of solid ( photon )  and indeed natural radio activeisotopes radiate light and G Rays.

It stands to reason that  the higher frequency ( radio and above ) vibrations all consist of particles , why should light frequencies contain photons , and lower frequencies only Magnetic and Electric vectors ?  Because the particles are of lower mass ( energy ) than the photon, and have not been discovered yet.  Just a lack of sensor technology.  Speaking of which -  your color  theremin ..   camera based color to audio translator , very basic walking stick technology.  If you really want to create color , one can modulate the pigment cones within the eye, that is relatively easy to do with the matricies programmed for cone position, I can see these work through a micro -array  directly applied to a pair of glasses.  The blind person merely calibrating from reference color cards, then we can phase lock the array so that movement on the nose is compensated ..
